The intelligent investor should conclude that IPO does not stand only for “initial public offering.” More accurately, it is also shorthand for:

– It’s Probably Overpriced
– Imaginary Profits Only
– Insiders’ Private Opportunity or
– Idiotic, Preposterous, and Outrageous.
